Lingen, 4 November 2019 - Following the success of the last few years, Novus this year offered interested parties the opportunity to attend a refresher course for the basic course of the "Certified Workplace Expert" from 23 to 24 October 2019. The course took place in Lingen and was run by the Mensch & Büro Akademie. In this course, participants refreshed their specialist knowledge of office space planning, from the basics of ergonomic design of office workplaces and offices to the application of relevant regulations.

Uninterrupted interest

As in previous years for the training as Certified Workplace Expert, the 15 seminar places were quickly fully booked. There is a great deal of interest in the field of contract and office furnishing, so the participants come from a wide range of backgrounds, from field staff in the specialist trade to buyers from industry.

The Mensch&Büro-Akademie provides qualified knowledge in the fields of office planning, furnishing and ergonomics with its training and event offers.

As a manufacturer of office furniture, Novus has been able to play a pioneering role as a worklife expert in the northern German region in particular. The refresher course once again made it clear how important certification is in customer consulting in the field of contract furnishing. At the end of the course, an examination is taken so that the title "certified workplace expert" can be used as a title on the business card.

Learning from professionals

The refresher course was led by Alexandra Lorz, who, as an office consultant (MBA) and speaker at the Mensch & Büro Akademie, imparted her knowledge with clear examples that were relevant to practice, taking into account current regulations. The Mensch & Büro Akademie, based in Heidelberg, has been imparting specialist knowledge on the subject of offices since 1991 and qualifies numerous companies from the office furnishing industry in further training courses and specialist events in the fields of office planning, furnishing and ergonomics.
